INFiLED has provided the panels for the largest indoor LED screen in Dubai.

The 980 sq metre display at Dubai Aquarium, in The Dubai Mall, comprises MV-Series and MV-Edge screens with a 3.9m pixel pitch.

Client Emaar Properties tasked Blue Rhine Industries with overseeing the aquarium LED display project.

The Dubai-based digital signage provider then opted for INFiLED’s displays because of their seamless curve at each end, and for their aesthetic appeal,

The low weight of the MV-Series cabinets was also critical to Blue Rhine Industries’ installation.

Samer Otaibi, INFiLED’s vice-president of sales in the Middle East, says: “Collaborating with Emaar always demands meeting high standards, as they consistently set benchmarks to outpace the competition. We are thrilled to have our flagship indoor LED screen installed at The Dubai Mall.”

John Joseph, sales director at Blue Rhine Industries, says: “Embarking on the installation above a live aquarium, within a dynamic mall environment, presented intricate challenges that necessitated specialised expertise.

“Operating exclusively during night-time hours, the team executed the project with precision, navigating complexities to minimise disruption to the delicate live aquatic ecosystem. Prioritising the wellbeing of the fish demanded a unique blend of technical proficiency and conscientious execution throughout the process.”

Details of the Dubai Aquarium project were revealed in INFiLED’s latest case study which can be found here: https://www.infiled.com/projects/the-dubai-mall-aquarium/
