Panasonic Connect Europe unveiled a range of next-generation products at ISE designed to enable customers to share content from anywhere using AV-over-IP.

The new ET-FMP50 Series comprises three media processors that simplify workflows and enhance multi-projection experiences in immersive environments. The series includes two box-type devices and an Intel SDM specification slot-compatible function board.

Available from the second quarter of year, the devices feature manual or camera-based automatic warping and blending, as well as media playback functions.

Panasonic also unveiled its most sustainable range of LCD projectors yet. The MZ882 series, which offers a brightness of up to 8,200 lumens, features recycled resins (10%) in the main projector unit and recyclable components throughout.

The new RQ7 Series 1-Chip DLP projector, which can provide up to 7,500 lumens is the first Panasonic projector below 8,000 lumens to be Intel SDM-enabled for easy integration into an existing infrastructure and AV-over-IP.

An expansion of Panasonic’s line-up of Intel SDM specification slot-compatible products will ensure that the company’s visual systems can evolve with customer needs.

Opting for Intel SDM specification-compatible boards allows customers to choose an AV-over-IP standard that best meets their use case, reducing conversion devices, simplifying system complexity and enabling transmission of media content over long distances via cost-effective CAT5/6 cable.

Cloud-based management
Panasonic’s new cloud-based Remotely Managed Service (RMS) is designed to help partners manage and optimise complex multi-projection environments in areas such as immersive experiences. Tailored for IT managers in location-based entertainment and events production, RMS improves system reliability, device longevity and imaging consistency.

The pro-AV team unveiled the Media Production Suite, which consolidates PC software for Panasonic’s professional camera systems into one platform. It provides access to multiple functions on a single GUI screen for highly intuitive and efficient on-site video production.

Upgrades to Kairos
Enhancements for the Kairos live-production platform included SDI I/O boards (AT-KC20M1) for the AT-KC200 and AT-KC2000/KC2000S1 mainframes. Offering up to 48 inputs/outputs (32 in/16 out) with 3G SDI & 4 boards, they are able to support larger and more complex productions.

New Kairos firmware (V1.6) offers extra filters for enhanced creativity, including colour correction, as well as independent user management features.

Panasonic also showcased optional software for Kairos Core Manager (AT-SFCM10), which provides users with Core back-up system, media restore and synchronisation and 16:10 native resolution in ST 2110.
