Kramer has appointed experienced AV and unified communications and collaboration (UCC) channel executive, Brooke Ellingworth, as its first-ever director of EMEA channels.
She joins the company from Logitech, where she was head of B2B channels for Europe. In her 16 years in the sector, Ellingworth has also worked for Ingram Micro and Cisco.
Ellingworth will play an instrumental role in refreshing and restructuring Kramer’s existing channel strategy, to maximise sales and growth opportunities across local and international markets, while extending global brand awareness.
She will conduct a review of Kramer’s existing EMEA channel partner network, while also exploring new alliance opportunities, including distributors, system integrators and other AV/IT/UCC service providers and specialists.
Ellingworth will work with Kramer’s growing regional management teams in EMEA, while also adding her knowledge and expertise to provide support in markets such as North America.
She will report to senior vice-president Peter Baxter, with whom Ellingworth worked at Logitech.
“The most important thing for me right now is getting to know the channel intimately and building true and long-term relationships,” said Ellingworth. “That means really understanding who they are, their relationship with us and ways that can be improved.
“I need to make sure we have the right partners who are committed to joining us on our journey. To do that, we have to be humble and accept that we need to do some things differently than before.”
“Brooke is a serial achiever and someone who has an incredible record of implementing hugely successful strategies and transformation to business – often from scratch – with quite stunning results,” said Baxter.
“However, to achieve our goals, we need to have the right structure and the right partners, together with the right people, with the right skillset and a shared ambition to not only help the business grow, but to do business in the right way.
“Building and nurturing relationships with the channel is key to that and I can’t think of anyone I would rather entrust in achieving this than with Brooke.”
