First responders deploy Panasonic PressIT in the field

Panasonic conference room technology is now supporting first responders working on the front lines of emergencies.

The company’s PressIT conference system has been deployed by Flymotion, a veteran-owned systems integrator, to help first responders with mission-critical insight from drones and robots.

First responders had complained that it was challenging to share information from drones and robots with many members of a response team at the same time. They would all have to crowd around a single tablet – such as the Panasonic Toughbook – to review drone footage.

But when they took the Panasonic PressIT wireless presentation system from their conference rooms into the field, it made a big difference, as can be seen in a video below.
