Visual effects software developer, The Foundry, has appointed Lucy Cooper as its new marketing manager. Cooper has previously worked at Artem Ktd, BBC MediaArc (now Red Bee Media), and Tele-Cine.

The BE8100 combines H.264/AVC (MPEG-4) compression technology with an encode latency of about 150ms, achieving more than twice the compression efficiency of the older MPEG-2 standard in true real time. The Telairity Encoders offers AVC/H.264 video compression in a HD encoder for a range of broadcast applications.
