Leyard Europe has provided a VEM1.8 LED solution to help French technology news platform Frandroid expand its global viewership.
The display, which was installed by Paris-based integrator Solutions Audiovisuelles (SAV), forms part of Frandroid’s new web TV studio.
The SAV team invited Frandroid to visit the Leyard demo facility to experience the VEM Series of fine-pitch LED displays.
Sylvain Piquois, key account manager at SAV, says: “We conducted an extensive test using Frandroid’s planned camera equipment for the new studio. The Frandroid team was convinced that Leyard’s VEM1.8 LED display was the perfect solution, thanks to its cabinet design and attractive pricing.”
The VEM Series’ flexible cabinet design enables easy formation of three- or four-sided shapes, making it ideal for creative display applications. Its six-axis alignment ensure a video wall can be perfectly aligned and seamless.
These features became crucial during the configuration of the LED display in Frandroid’s studio. “We had to construct the screen at a precise 90° angle, while still ensuring an optimal viewing experience,” says Piquois. “With the support of the Leyard team, we achieved a perfect 90° display with a zero millimetre gap.”
Arnaud Gelineau, creative producer and team manager at Frandroid, says: “Our regular use of the LED screen remains at the heart of our activities, especially during the live broadcast of our shows on Twitch, which involve our three media channels.
“To meet our production needs, we connected the screen to a fully remote-controlled PC. This approach has automated all operations, simplifying the screen’s start-up and the display of content corresponding to each programme. The goal was to ensure absolute transparency in use.”
Piquois adds: “Leyard’s VEM solution is a perfect fit for the studio and fulfils all the team’s objectives. The pixel pitch provides a wide viewing angle, while boasting a creative cabinet structure design.”
