It’s the exhibitors who pay to make the event happen, and they need to know who they are talking to. It’s not a small price to pay, it’s nothing to pay to see all of the kit in one place. I’ve been an exhibitor and have paid the staggering sums of money to be on the show floor. Put your badge on. Good luck all, have a good show.

Comment on Microsoft launches Surface Hub 3 all-in-one MTRoW board by Max Mertens https://www.avinteractive.com/news/products/microsoft-launches-surface-hub-3-all-in-one-mtrow-board-27-09-2023/#comment-633 Thu, 28 Sep 2023 00:21:18 +0000 https://www.avinteractive.com/?p=724931#comment-633 Sorry,
Starting from £ 9,299.00 for the 50inch Model & going up to £ 24,649.00 for the 85inch Model is ludicrous – particularly if you look at the Specs:

No Word on which i5 Processor they are using..
There is no Wi-Fi 6 nor WiFi 6E & no Bluetooth 5.3, so you could connect multiple Speaker Microphone Arrays onto Nearby Table wirelessly !

WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.3 are Standard now with HP, and other PC Manufacturers + also Apple.

And still no Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Port, too !

Along with just a meager Single Year of Warranty, I beg your Pardon…

Fantastic to see all the hardware from around 20 years ago. It shows how much things have moved on.

OR any TV Broadcaster that supports it…
otherwise

So why are you pushing seemingly new Hardware out with outdated Versions of Android?

I learned a lot about change management from our very wise colleague from Denmark, Kristian Glahn (COWI). He proposed change management to the Standards Steering Committee as a needed topic when we were fleshing out the priority list for standard development. That suggestion led to a fantastic discussion about meaning, purpose, and operational impact that change management has on an organization’s efficiency and ability to stay ahead of the curve and avoid a bumpy ride. PS The subject made it into the top 20 development queue, as I’m sure you know.
Thanks for bringing this to the fore. It would be interesting to know how orgs that had implemented a true change management strategy fared during the pandemic as opposed to those who had none, wouldn’t it?

Comment on Surface Hub to be first touch board to run MTR on Windows by Max Mertens https://www.avinteractive.com/news/collaboration/surface-hub-to-be-first-touch-board-to-run-mtr-on-windows-28-03-2023/#comment-622 Thu, 30 Mar 2023 12:05:44 +0000 https://www.avinteractive.com/?p=714843#comment-622 First Microsoft has to upgrade the Surface Hub 2S (!)
an 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD is no longer up-to-date…

13th Gen. Processors are currently available,
running Windows + Applications with just 8GB is a Joke + a 128GB SSD
that utilises already about 80+GB for Windows + Office is dimensioned to small,
in my Opinion.
Add then outdated Bluetooth 4.1 + Wi-Fi 5 to the Mix of the 50inch Model and BT 5.0 on the 85inch Model – makes no Sense.

With updated Bluetooth 5.3,
we could connect multiple Microphone Pods – this could also work better
if these Pods use WiFi 6E.

Plus in the Tech Specs for the current Models,
I cannot see any TPM 2.0 Module, that would allow the Install of Windows 11.
You can install it without it,
but you have to start from Scratch instead of utilising an In-Place Upgrade!

And that the Display only offers about 280nits of Brightness instead of 1000 for Signage Screens, so it can be used in bright OpenPlan Offices without requiring Shades.
