Strive AV has provided the AV solutions for a new hospice in the UK.
The £19.5m St Catherine’s Hospice in Pease Pottage, West Sussex, has been funded by donations from the community, and offers facilities designed to cater for the diverse needs of patients and their families in supporting palliative and end-of-life care.
Strive AV was brought in early, collaborating with the hospice’s project director to ensure diverse environments – which included clinical training suites, meeting rooms, patient and family lounges, 24 bedrooms and a dedicated audio room – were equipped with tailored solutions.
The company’s managing director, Toni Moss, said: “The commitment of Strive AV to deliver first-class installations and provide training to staff reflects a dedication to ensuring the AV equipment seamlessly integrates into the hospice’s daily operations.
“The collaboration with suppliers like iiyama, Midwich and LG to secure special pricing, and the decision to carry out all installations free of charge, underscore the social responsibility of Strive AV. We had our teams install – over a few weeks – all the meeting rooms and signage platforms, and all the bedrooms equipped with Smart TVs .
“Support from local businesses is crucial for the success of charitable projects, and Strive AV is proud to be able to contribute to the community’s wellbeing.”
