Pet-friendly drone show promoted as fireworks alternative

Drone show company Pixis has teamed up with Stella & Chewy’s, a raw pet food brand, to change the way people in Los Angeles in the US celebrate special occasions with their pets.

The companies have collaborated on a 300 drone display, controlled by Drone Show Technologies from SPH Engineering, to show that drone shows can be a safe and beautiful alternative to fireworks.

The 4 July has long been celebrated with dazzling fireworks displays in the US, but the loud noises, bright flashes, and smoke from these events have posed a challenge for pet owners. Regrettably, 5 July has historically become the busiest day for pet rescue shelters as the frightening effects of fireworks cause pets to panic and run away from their homes.
